Polish companies in the National Court Register (KRS): financial benchmarks by PKD division, 2023-2025

Abstract: Aggregated statistics on Polish legal entities registered in the National Court Register (Krajowy Rejestr Sądowy, KRS), prepared by tropia.pl. The dataset contains aggregates only, with no data on individual companies or persons. Company-level data (financial statements, management boards, shareholders, ownership graph, history of changes) is available at tropia.pl and through the tropia.pl REST API and MCP server. Files financial_benchmarks_by_pkd_division.csv: quartiles of net revenue, median net margin, median total assets and equity, share of profitable entities and share with negative equity, per PKD 2007 division and financial year (2023-2025). entities_by_legal_form_voivodeship_status.csv: number of entities by legal form, voivodeship and status (active / deregistered). registrations_by_year_legal_form.csv: number of entities by year of registration in KRS (2001-2026) and legal form. Source: financial statements filed electronically to the Repozytorium Dokumentów Finansowych (Ministry of Justice), parsed by tropia.pl, and register data from KRS. One statement per entity and year (the most recently prepared one when corrections exist). Excluded: banks, insurers and other financial institutions, and statements with uncertain units. Groups with fewer than 20 statements are omitted. Year 2025 is preliminary. Register snapshot: October 2026.
