Abstract: In the Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (LEI), didactic planning is suggested with a narrative and open character, but many students confuse it with a description of activities. The purpose of the study was to validate the NarPPlanDEI instrument, designed to evaluate how teachers in training integrate the pedagogical narrative in their plans, within the framework of the New Mexican School model; a quantitative, non-experimental, descriptive and cross-sectional approach was followed; 50 normalistas from Durango participated, 80% of the population; the questionnaire gathered 21 items with Likert-type scaling, grouped into four dimensions, and an open question; three doctors of education reviewed the content with the V of Aiken, then a pilot was carried out with 25 students; reliability obtained a Cronbach's alpha of 0.835 considered as good. The results showed that the students described the children well and chose relevant content, however, it is difficult for them to narrate the sociocultural and family context, and rarely included reasonable adjustments to address diversity; the dimensions were highly correlated; the strongest link was between curricular articulation and flexibility, and the weakest between the group's narrative and the reflection of the educational agent, which shows that they knew how to describe the children, but did not print their own voice in the planning. It was concluded that the instrument was valid and reliable, and that it also served to guide the formative accompaniment, especially in inclusion and teacher reflection.
