Brincando com as letras: aprendendo o alfabeto de forma lúdica.

Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: This article aims to present and discuss the pedagogical experiences developed through the project “Playing with Letters: Learning the Alphabet in a Playful Way,” which sought to provide children with meaningful experiences of engagement with oral and written language through play, artistic activities, and collective productions. The proposal was based on the principles of the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), which recognizes interactions and play as the structuring axes of pedagogical practices in Early Childhood Education. Methodologically, this work is characterized as an experience report with a qualitative approach and a descriptive nature, developed over six weeks. The activities involved exploring the letters of the alphabet, storytelling, music, producing illustrations, and the collective construction of simple words and sentences, with teacher mediation. As a final product, an illustrated book was organized, gathering the children's productions and valuing their creativity, participation, and artistic expression. The experience enabled the creation of learning situations aimed at the development of language, imagination, motor coordination, and social interaction. It is concluded that pedagogical practices based on playfulness foster children's engagement with written culture, respecting their developmental rhythms and recognizing them as protagonists of their own learning.
