Multi-target effects and clinical optimization treatment strategies of recombinant human B-type natriuretic peptide in acute heart failure and myocardial infarction
Year: 2026
Type: review
Abstract: Acute cardiovascular diseases have become a serious public health challenge worldwide. Optimizing treatment strategies is crucial for improving the prognosis of patients. Recombinant human B-type natriuretic peptide (rhBNP) has garnered significant attention due to its multi-target mechanisms of action. This article aims to comprehensively review the multi-target effects of rhBNP in the treatment of acute cardiovascular diseases, and briefly explain its molecular mechanism through the activation of natriuretic peptide receptors and multiple downstream signaling pathways. In addition, combined with the latest clinical evidence, the optimization strategies for the clinical application of rhBNP are deeply discussed. However, it is important to acknowledge that current clinical evidence regarding renal protection and long-term clinical outcomes remains mixed. This review aims to provide evidence-based, individualized treatment recommendations for clinical practice, thereby improving the clinical outcomes of patients with acute cardiovascular diseases.
