Dari Trauma Menjadi Pengingat Moral: Etika Mengingat dan Transformasi Sikap Masyarakat Pasca Konflik Poso
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: . The Malino Declaration (2001–2002) successfully halted large-scale physical violence in the Poso communal conflict; however, it did not automatically eliminate grassroots psychosocial trauma and spatial segregation. This study aims to analyze the post-conflict social recovery process by focusing on the dynamics of trauma, ethics of remembering, and transformation of community attitudes. Employing a descriptive qualitative method, this research integrates Maurice Halbwachs's collective memory theory and Johan Galtung's ABC Theory (Attitude, Behavior, Contradiction). The findings demonstrate that terminating physical conflict must be accompanied by healing inner psychological wounds and addressing latent prejudices. This process occurs when memories of past trauma are no longer harbored as sources of resentment (vindictive memory), but are ethically transformed into a shared moral reminder.
