Abstract: This study aims to understand how family resilience and economic vulnerability interact to shape children's behavior in Lagadar Village, Margaasih District, Bandung Regency. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, the research explores internal family dynamics and responses to economic pressure through field observations and a review of the literature. The findings indicate that families with high levels of resilience are generally able to manage economic strain through adaptive strategies—such as diversifying income sources, practicing careful financial management, and strengthening communication among family members. This resilience fosters supportive parenting patterns, which in turn promote positive behavioral development in children. Conversely, families facing economic pressure without sufficient resilience tend to exhibit unstable parenting patterns, which can lead to the emergence of deviant behavior in children. The interplay between resilience and vulnerability is complex and context-dependent, highlighting the need for an integrative approach in social policy—one that addresses not only economic factors but also social and cultural dimensions.
