Abstract: Protocol (v1.1) for a systematic review and meta-analysis of prognostic factor studies on whether generic motor or physical fitness test scores at ages 6-12 predict sport attainment (competitive level, selection, professional status, retention) measured at least 24 months later. Search strings were frozen on 22 October 2026 after a pilot and benchmark recall test. Final searches, screening, extraction and analyses follow this registration.
