Gis and Artificial Intelligence-based Forecasting of Regional Sustainable Development
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: Ensuring the sustainable development of the regional economy has become the most important issue on a global scale. In 2024-2026, growth rates in the countries that account for more than 80% of the world's population and global GDP remain below those of the decade preceding the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2025, the German geospatial analytics (Geospatial Analytics) market is valued at USD 1.45 billion, and it is expected to reach USD 2.55 billion by 2030. Therefore, using GIS technologies as a lever for forecasting regions, and studying their structural components and their impact on the formation of regional economic policy, is a pressing scientific problem.
