The Pedagogical Potential of Interactive Teaching Methods in Primary Education
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: The effective organisation of primary education requires teaching approaches that promote pupils’ active participation, independent thinking, communication, creativity, and meaningful acquisition of knowledge. Interactive teaching methods provide opportunities to transform the classroom from a teacher-dominated environment into a collaborative learning space in which pupils actively construct knowledge through discussion, inquiry, problem-solving, and reflection. The proposed framework may serve as a methodological resource for primary school teachers and researchers seeking to improve the quality of learner-centred education.
