Abstract: We report a woman with anti-GAD-positive Stiff Person Syndrome undergoing two multidisciplinary neurorehabilitation admissions. A Transactional Analysis-informed neuropsychotherapeutic intervention supported emotional adaptation and goal transition from recovery to adaptation. Despite cognitive decline, severe disability, and limited motor improvement, depression, anxiety, and caregiver burden improved, highlighting emotional rehabilitation as meaningful.
