Abstract: Introduction: The development of certain motor skills is fundamental in children's football training. Diversified training strategies are needed to overcome difficulties in control, dribbling, passing, dribbling, and finishing. Objective: To determine the effect of a training program based on multisport games on the specific motor skills of 9 to 10-year-old soccer players from SECAP in Durán, Ecuador. Method: A pre-experimental study design with a single group of 30 soccer players was conducted with pretest and posttest. The TGMD-3, the UGent Dribbling Test, the Haaland and Hoff Passing Test, the Rösch Shooting Test, and an observation guide were conducted. For a period of ten weeks, athletics, basketball, handball, volleyball, and football games were developed, including races, jumps, coordination circuits, throws, receptions, dribbling, passes, dribbles, and finishes. Results: The TGMD-3 score increased from 38.27 ± 4.25 to 44.43 ± 4.45 points, while the differential time of UGent decreased from 3.08 ± 0.42 to 2.44 ± 0.47 s; Haaland and Hoff improved from 16.27 ± 2.46 to 22.50 ± 2.75 points and Rösch from 8.03 ± 2.59 to 10.87 ± 2.78 points. Improvements were observed in locomotor coordination, body control, agility, dribbling, passing, and shooting accuracy (p<0.001; r=0.74-0.89). Discussion: The diversification of motor experiences favored technical execution and coordination. Conclusions: The program constitutes a methodological alternative to diversify training and promote the learning of football.
