Abstract: This short film provides the first adaptation of Garbriel Tarde's 1905 science fiction novel Underground Man. The director builds on various introductions to -- and translations of -- the novel to highlight its ultimate inexplicability, a political aesthetic that mirrors contemporary MAGA and Trump led politics.
