Identifikasi Kebutuhan Pengembangan Resiliensi Postulan Di Kongregasi Puteri Reinha Rosari: Studi Pendahuluan Kualitatif
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: This preliminary qualitative study explored perceived needs for resilience development and guidance among postulants from the perspective of one key informant, the head of postulant formation at the Congregation of Puteri Reinha Rosari. Data consisted of written responses to 12 initial open-ended questions dated September 11, 2026, and seven follow-up questions with an additional closing response dated October 5, 2026. The data were analyzed descriptively through repeated reading, coding, and comparison of responses across both stages. Initial findings concerned adjustment to community life, responses to challenges, recovery after difficulties, emotional processing, and existing guidance. Follow-up responses identified interpersonal relationships and responsibility as the informant’s most pressing priorities, alongside self-understanding and emotional and affective maturity. The informant favored personal accompaniment and affective psychological guidance and suggested psychoeducation and, where appropriate, additional individualized support. A statement that approximately 75% of postulants exhibited the described pattern was an unverified estimate made by the informant, not a measured prevalence. These findings indicate possible priorities for further needs assessment and guidance planning but do not establish the needs or resilience levels of all postulants. The study is limited to one formator’s perspective and does not evaluate any intervention.
