Abstract: School readiness among early childhood children is a multidimensional concept shaped not only by reading, writing, and arithmetic skills but also by religious and moral, physical-motor, cognitive, language, and social-emotional development. This study aimed to describe the school readiness of children aged 5–6 years at PAUD Margherita Ricci Curbastro, Kupang Regency, as well as the roles of teachers and parents. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, with observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The participants were two Group B children selected because of delays in several developmental aspects, one homeroom teacher, and the parents of both children. The findings show that the main strengths of both children lie in religious and moral values and in independence in daily routines, whereas fine motor skills, recognition of individual letters, and social-emotional regulation still need additional stimulation. The one-year suspension of teacher-parent meetings weakened the consistent support available to the children. These findings emphasize the need for regular teacher-parent communication and a holistic understanding of school readiness.
