Abstract: The prevalence of cattle fasciolosis and its intermediate hosts was studied in selected districts of the Jizzakh region. Fasciola spp. eggs were detected in 17 (34.0%) of 50 cattle fecal samples. Lymnaea bactriana snails were found in wet biotopes near grazing areas. The results indicate favorable epizootiological conditions for fasciolosis transmission in the study area.
