From SSC Capabilities to Lot Acceptance Assessment

Abstract: The author’s previous studies have demonstrated the potential of stress–strain curve (SSC) analysis for diagnosing sintered tantalum pellets and formed anodes. This paper addresses the practical next step: establishing a structural benchmark and allowable deviations for assessing production lots. A linked database of process, mechanical, and electrical results is proposed. The method is intended to monitor the reproducibility of the anode’s mechanical state associated with confirmed manufacturing and test results.
