Abstract: This article analyzes the laboratory and clinical diagnostic methods used to detect helminthiases in animals. It emphasizes that helminthiases reduce the productivity of farm animals and adversely affect their health, while some of them, owing to their zoonotic nature, also pose a threat to human health. The article highlights the significance of clinical signs, parasitological, helminthoovoscopic and helmintholarvoscopic methods, as well as the methods of complete and incomplete helminthological necropsy. In addition, the role of laboratory examinations in the early detection of diseases, correct diagnosis and the development of effective treatment and preventive measures is substantiated.
