Abstract: The human brain, and large language models, must retain, integrate and access huge quantities of information. The retained information depends upon the details of the encoding. The integration depends on elaborate connectivity. The access depends on a relationship to the entire database that includes the meanings and encoded information. The irreducible tension between the micro details of encoding information, and the total database perspective required for meaning, can be resolved only by an analytic tool, like the informational entropy of all or part of the data. Reified quantum mechanics, with a mechanism to resolve indeterminacy, can be viewed as a model of Panpsychism (Remler, 2026a) with the necessary analytic tools. This model provides a rational framework to understand evolution, with the rising centrality of negative entropy, and the massive encephalization manifest in human beings. The result is a scientifically based, conceptual model of the high-level human brain function including Consciousness and the range of Subjectivity.
