Abstract: This presentation provides an understanding of research culture from both a global and an African perspective with supporting data, and presents practical steps one can take to reform their local research cultures. It was presented by Emmanuel Boakye, Executive Director of the African Reproducibility Network (AREN), during AREN's 9-month Local Network Leads (LNLs) training program in 2026.
