Reflection Before, During and After the Lesson: a Time-based View of the Primary Teacher's Reflective Cycle

Abstract: The paper distinguishes three temporal types of a primary teacher's reflection, shows how they form a closed cycle described by the ALACT model, and explains how simulation-based pedagogical tasks allow pre-service teachers to rehearse all three types within one session.
