Zamonaviy Pedagogik Terminologiyada Predlogli Interfiksal Birikmalar Va Ularning O‘zbek Tilidagi Muqobillari
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: The article examines English pedagogical terms whose components are linked by a preposition, such as one-to-one, peer-to-peer, face-to-face, school-to-work and out-of-school, and their Uzbek equivalents. Google Books Ngram data show that the linking preposition is often dropped or replaced by a digit. In Uzbek its function is taken over by case suffixes, postpositions and descriptive phrases, and out-of-school children and maktabdan tashqari ta’lim turn out to be false equivalents.
