Abstract: This study aimed to determine the effect of Kahoot interactive learning media on students’ learning interest in Social Studies (IPS) among eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Cina. The study employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental method and a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population and sample consisted of 24 students from Class VIII B, selected through saturated sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using descriptive statistics and a Paired Sample t-test. The results showed that the students’ mean learning-interest score increased from 79.96 in the pretest to 87.17 in the posttest. The Paired Sample t-test produced a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05; therefore, H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted. Observation of the implementation of Kahoot-based learning reached 96.25%, categorized as very good. These findings indicate that Kahoot interactive learning media has a significant effect on students’ learning interest in Social Studies in Class VIII at SMP Negeri 1 Cina.
