Abstract: Mathematics learning in madrasah remains detached from local context and religious moderation values, although wali (saint) sites in Paciran hold potential as learning resources. This preliminary study aims to analyze learning needs and to identify the mathematical concepts embedded in wali (saint) sites and local culture in Paciran, Lamongan, as the basis for developing an ethnomathematics e-module that strengthens religious moderation and mathematical literacy among Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) students. The study corresponds to the Analysis phase of the ADDIE model and uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with a mathematics teacher at MI Tarbiyatus Shibyan and site managers, field documentation of the tombs of Sunan Drajat, Maulana Ishaq, and Sunan Sendang and of Batik Sendang, and document analysis, then examined with the Miles and Huberman interactive model supported by source and technique triangulation. The results show that mathematics learning still relies on textbooks detached from local context, while the cultural potential of Paciran remains underused. The exploration identified concepts of symmetry, plane figures, solid figures, patterns, and measurement relevant to grades IV and V, together with four religious moderation indicators reflected in the wali’s da’wah. These findings were synthesized into a design framework and an outline of four e-module units that will be validated and tested in the subsequent ADDIE phases.
