Abstract: Öz Bu çalışmanın amacı, algılanan motivasyonel iklimin prososyal ve antisosyal davranışlar üzerindeki etkisinin engellilik durumu tarafından düzenlenip düzenlenmediğini incelemektir. The study employed a relational survey model and included 212 athletes (with disability, n = 119; without disability, n = 93). Data were collected using the Prosocial and Antisocial Behavior in Sport Scale and the Perceived Motivational Climate in Sport Questionnaire. Data were analyzed using R Studio (4.5.0), and heteroskedasticity-consistent robust standard errors (HC4) were used due to heteroskedasticity. The moderation analyses were repeated with age and gender controlled and with the climate × gender interaction added to the model. According to the findings, some significant correlations were identified among the subscales of the measures (p < .05). Disability status significantly moderated the effect of performance-oriented climate on prosocial behaviors (p < .001). Significant moderation was also found for the effect of mastery-oriented climate on prosocial behaviors (p < .001). These two moderation effects were retained when age and gender were controlled and when the climate × gender interaction was added. The moderating role of disability status in the effect of performance-oriented climate on antisocial behaviors was significant when age and gender were controlled (p < .05), but it lost significance when the climate × gender interaction was added to the model (p = .405). In contrast, no significant moderating effect of disability status was found in the relationship between mastery-oriented climate and antisocial behaviors (p > .05). Simple slopes analysis showed that the significant moderations regarding prosocial behaviors stemmed from athletes without disabilities. The effect of performance-oriented climate on prosocial behavior was significant among athletes without disabilities (p < .05) but nonsignificant among athletes with disabilities (p > .05). Similarly, the effect of performance-oriented climate on antisocial behavior was significant and positive among athletes without disabilities (p < .05) but nonsignificant among athletes with disabilities (p > .05); however, this finding was not sustained when the climate × gender interaction was controlled. Finally, the effect of mastery-oriented climate on prosocial behavior was significant among athletes without disabilities (p < .05) but nonsignificant among athletes with disabilities (p > .05). In conclusion, the effect of motivational climate on prosocial behaviors differs according to disability status, and these effects emerge only among athletes without disabilities. With regard to antisocial behaviors, no disability-based difference was found for mastery oriented climate, and the difference found for performance-oriented climate was not sustained when the effect of gender was controlled.
