Abstract: This study examines the theological significance of the doctrine of Imago Dei in response to the ethical challenges posed by artificial intelligence to human dignity and identity. Utilizing a qualitative literature review approach, the research analyzes how technological advancements in AI necessitate a profound reflection on theological anthropology. The findings indicate that the Imago Dei remains the foundational framework for affirming human uniqueness and dignity amidst digital progress. Consequently, AI development and utilization must be guided by Christian ethical principles to ensure technology supports human well-being without eroding core values. Ultimately, the study highlights the need for a contextual reconstruction of Christian spirituality and ethics, enabling believers to engage with AI wisely, responsibly, and in alignment with their divine calling as God's image.
