Abstract: The first part of the book "Analytics" examines the process of establishing a robust system for organizing and conducting analytical research. First, it presents the author’s perspective on the essence of information-analytical work — viewing it both as a specific type of activity and as the initial stage of the broader analytical process. Second, it introduces the term "analytical-forecasting work" into academic discourse. Third, it discusses the highest and logically culminating stage of analytical work: the research-based (scientific-investigative) stage. Throughout this discussion, the challenges involved in organizing and carrying out analytical work are also identified.The book is primarily intended for analysts themselves — whether they work in management or in research — and, more broadly, for anyone who has dedicated their career to the field of analysis. It will also prove useful to creative, strategically minded leaders and professionals across various sectors and levels, including civil servants, public figures, journalists, editors, and other media workers, as well as experts, businesspeople, and managers. Furthermore, the book is likely to be of great interest to students — especially those who aspire to achieve success in life by mastering the profession of an analyst.
