Bem-estar ocupacional e equilíbrio psicossocial na enfermagem: um estudo à luz dos Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável
Year: 2026

Study design: Observational Study
Abstract: This study analyzes occupational well-being and psychosocial balance among nurses and nursing technicians working in public and private hospitals, aligned with Goals 3.4 and 8.8 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The research investigates how factors such as work overload, inadequate infrastructure, communication failures, organizational conflicts, and lack of professional recognition directly impact workers' mental health, contributing to anxiety, depression, and burnout syndrome. In a post-pandemic context, in which structural vulnerabilities in nursing have become increasingly visible, the study highlights the urgent need for institutional policies aimed at promoting mental health, improving working conditions, and ensuring psychologically safe environments. Using a quantitative methodology applied in two hospitals in Belo Horizonte, the results reveal consistent patterns of emotional and physical strain in both sectors, demonstrating the importance of strategic actions aligned with the 2030 Agenda to ensure decent work, well-being, and high-quality care.
