Abstract: Obsessive‐compulsive disorder (OCD) is an impairing condition that affects 1% to 3% of the population, but access to the recommended first‐line treatment, exposure and response prevention (ERP), is limited due to shortages of trained therapists, long waiting lists, and treatment dropout and refusal. Internet‐based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) has been suggested as a replacement to ERP because of convenience, but another treatment, which is a concentrated four‐day ERP, was shown superior in reducing OCD severity in a study published this month.
