Abstract: This study aims to analyze the implementation of ethnomathematics in the development of mathematics teaching materials through a literature review. The study employed a literature review method using a content analysis approach on 12 articles published between 2020 and 2025, which were obtained from Google Scholar, SINTA, and open-access national and international journals. The research instrument consisted of a data extraction sheet containing information on article identity, cultural context, type of teaching material, mathematics topic, and the results of validity, practicality, and effectiveness assessments. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The findings revealed that Student Worksheets (LKPD) were the most dominant product (83.3%), with Banjar culture being the most frequently incorporated cultural context and geometry serving as the primary mathematics topic. In general, all teaching materials were categorized as valid to highly valid, practical, and effective in improving students’ mathematical abilities. Furthermore, there was a noticeable increase in research publications in 2024, indicating growing interest in ethnomathematics. The study concludes that ethnomathematics research in the development of mathematics teaching materials is still predominantly focused on Student Worksheets (LKPD).
