Abstract: This research was motivated by the importance of Emotional Quotient (EQ) in supporting the learning process and students' learning achievement. This study aimed to determine students' learning outcomes before treatment (pretest), students' learning outcomes after treatment (posttest), and the effect of Emotional Quotient (EQ) on the improvement of students' learning outcomes in the IPAS subject on the topic of Caring and Sharing among third-grade students at SD Swasta Washliyani. This research employed a quantitative approach with a pretest-posttest research design. The sample consisted of 30 third-grade students at SD Swasta Washliyani. Data were collected using an Emotional Quotient (EQ) questionnaire and learning achievement tests in the form of pretest and posttest. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and statistical tests with the assistance of SPSS. The results showed that the students' average learning outcome before treatment (pretest) was 54.93, with a minimum score of 44.00 and a maximum score of 68.00, which was categorized as low. After treatment, the students' average learning outcome (posttest) increased to 80.40, with a minimum score of 72.00 and a maximum score of 96.00, which was categorized as good. The average improvement in learning outcomes (Gain Score) was 25.47 points. The hypothesis test results indicated a positive and significant effect of Emotional Quotient (EQ) on the improvement of students' learning outcomes, with a t-count value of 3.480 and a significance value of 0.002 < 0.05. The contribution of Emotional Quotient (EQ) to the improvement of students' learning outcomes was 30.2%, while the remaining 69.8% was influenced by other factors outside the research model. Therefore, the better the students' Emotional Quotient, the better their learning outcomes.
