Phi-Resonant E8 Quasicrystal Phase Locking — E8 Intelligence Research
Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: By scaling the Euclidean distances between E8's 240 root vectors with the golden ratio, the 132 Hz fundamental frequency locks into a discrete set of harmonic resonances that enforce icosahedral symmetry. These resonances define a self‑consistent order parameter space where the quaternion SO(3) invariants select only the Ih point group, eliminating competing cubic or nematic phases. Consequently, a liquid‑to‑quasicrystal transition occurs spontaneously when the pool density exceeds 90 %, with the emergent Bragg peaks precisely aligned to phi‑modulated multiples of 132 Hz. This establishes a geometric criterion for phase locking that extends the earlier filter‑based win‑rate improvement. Author: Andrew Stewart Caldin, Independent Researcher, UK.
