Development of a JNT Cargo Courier Tracking Website using Single Linkage for Nearest Route Optimization

Abstract: The development of digital logistics services requires an efficient tracking system to improve courier delivery performance. J&T Cargo courier services still face challenges in determining the nearest delivery route, which can affect delivery efficiency and travel distance. This study aims to develop a courier tracking website using the Single Linkage method to determine the nearest route for J&T Cargo deliveries. The system was developed using the waterfall development method, consisting of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing stages. The Single Linkage method was applied to group delivery locations based on distance similarity, allowing the system to recommend the closest courier route. The results show that the developed website can provide courier tracking information and assist in determining delivery routes more efficiently. The system testing indicates that all main features function properly according to the designed requirements. This research demonstrates that the implementation of the Single Linkage method can support logistics management by optimizing courier route selection and improving delivery monitoring.
