Abstract: Equations of mathematical physics hold a special place in modelling many natural processes (heat propagation, diffusion, wave motion, electromagnetic fields). Initial and boundary conditions are of particular importance in solving such equations. In modern science and technology, “nonlocal boundary conditions” play an important role. This paper presents the mathematical treatment and applied aspects of a parabolic problem with such nonlocal boundary conditions.
