Abstract: Lint percentage was comparatively evaluated in local and foreign cotton varieties and accessions on the basis of the table provided. Across all 21 varieties and accessions, the value ranged from 32.46 to 43.37%. In the control variety S-4727, lint percentage was 35.65%. Xin lu-zho 52, Xin lu-zho 78 and the accession “Xitoy navi” (Chinese variety) stood out for their high values. Xorazm 127 and Turkiya 2 Levzara also outperformed the control. The selected materials are recommended for further trials in breeding aimed at increasing lint percentage.
