Abstract: The efficacy of temozolomide for glioblastoma multiforme is mainly influenced by MGMT promoter methylation, with additional modulation by TERT mutations. Evidence for other markers like ABCB1 polymorphisms and xCT/SLC7A11 expression is less established and warrants further investigation.
