Abstract: This article analyzes the research and innovation activities of women scientists of Uzbekistan in the field of physical culture and sport. It considers the role of their pedagogical, psychological and methodological studies in fostering a healthy lifestyle, developing women’s sport and modernizing the system of physical education. A direct link is substantiated between physical culture as a social science and the improvement of the quality of human capital, which contributes to the socio-economic progress of the country.
