Abstract: Commercial bokashi compost is widely used by Indonesian farmers, yet its macronutrient concentration is agronomically low, so that large application rates are required. Banana peel is rich in potassium but deficient in nitrogen and phosphorus, whereas moringa leaf is rich in nitrogen and phosphorus; the combination of both materials as compost enrichment agents has not been evaluated. This study aimed to analyse the effect of adding banana peel powder, moringa leaf powder, and their combination on the pH, total N, total P, and total K of bokashi compost, and to examine the dynamics of these properties between day 15 and day 30 of composting. The experiment used a completely randomised design with four treatments and three replications: bokashi 2.5 kg (P1), bokashi + banana peel powder (P2), bokashi + moringa leaf powder (P3), and bokashi + both materials (P4), each activated with EM-4 solution at a constant ratio of 1 L per 2.5 kg of solid material. Data were analysed using analysis of variance followed by the least significant difference test at 5%. Treatment significantly affected all chemical properties (p < 0.01) at both sampling times. At day 30, P4 produced the highest total N (4.10%), total P (2.73%), and total K (3.97%), equivalent to 4.10% N, 6.26% P₂O₅, and 4.78% K₂O. However, the higher nutrient concentration was accompanied by a decline in other quality attributes: the pH of P2 (9.20) and P4 (9.50) exceeded the 6.80–7.49 range of SNI 19-7030-2004, and the total solid mass differed among formulations so that the treatment effects reflect differences between formulations rather than the effect of material type alone. Total N and total K did not change significantly between day 15 and day 30, whereas total P still increased significantly; this concentration stability should not be interpreted as compost maturity, because organic C and the C/N ratio were not measured.
