Abstract: This work focuses on the possibilities of using structure-forming compositions based on water-soluble polymers that can act on the saline soils of the region. Introducing polymer materials into the soil can improve its physical and chemical properties, increase its water-holding capacity and reduce its salinity level. This approach may become a promising direction in addressing the problem of soil degradation and make a substantial contribution to the development of agriculture in the region, higher productivity and an improved ecological situation in Karakalpakstan.
