Abstract: Impact of Lunar Phases (Amavasya, Hunnume, Ekadashi) and Cosmic Pressure Gradients on Neuro-Somatic and Functional Disorders: A 10-Year Empirical Study (2015–2025) Abstract This study investigates the physiological and neurological fluctuations observed in individuals with functional, regulation, and somatic disorders (including hysteria and trance states) during specific lunar phases—Amavasya (New Moon), Hunnume (Full Moon), and Ekadashi. Conducted over a 10-year period (2015–2025) involving 100 participants in a monastic setting, the research challenges the conventional psychological paradigms of placebo and nocebo effects. By employing blind observation methods, blood tests (conducted thrice daily: morning, afternoon, and night), hormonal assays (Cortisol, Serotonin), and Electroencephalogram (EEG) recordings, the study documents consistent biological variations even when subjects were unaware of the specific lunar dates. The findings suggest that cosmic pressure gradients, driven by high-to-low pressure shifts of stellar and planetary rays during these alignments, directly impact individuals with pre-existing neural-cellular sensitivity and hormonal imbalances, independent of psychological suggestion. Introduction Modern medical psychology predominantly attributes unexplained somatic flare-ups, anxiety, and behavioral shifts during lunar cycles to psychological phenomena such as the placebo or nocebo effect. However, clinical and empirical observations in controlled environments often reveal anomalies that defy purely psychological explanations. This paper presents a 10-year empirical study conducted between 2015 and 2025 on 100 subjects suffering from functional, regulation, and somatic disorders. The primary objective is to evaluate whether biological markers (blood parameters, hormones, and brainwave patterns) fluctuate during Amavasya, Hunnume, and Ekadashi due to external cosmic and atmospheric pressure dynamics rather than psychological autosuggestion.
