Abstract: The article discusses a study of the chemical, mineralogical and granulometric composition of clay raw materials of Karakalpakstan, regarded as local raw materials in the Republic of Uzbekistan, in particular Bekboy loess, Khojakul clay and bentonite, and the analytical results obtained. Granulometric and mineralogical analyses showed that these materials contain mainly quartz, feldspar, illite, montmorillonite, dolomite and carbonate minerals and that the raw materials under study belong to the group of finely dispersed clay raw materials.
