Abstract: One of the encryption approaches widely used in cryptography is the encryption and decryption of data by means of so-called public-key methods (also known as two-key methods). The construction of a general scheme of the communication channel between two parties, formed by means of a public-key encryption algorithm, is considered. The application of public-key cryptographic algorithms in electronic digital signatures is shown.
