Abstract: The growing use of e-wallets is not always followed by continued use of a particular service, making it important to identify the factors that influence continuance intention. This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived usefulness and perceived security on continuance intention, with satisfaction as a mediating variable, among public university students who use the DANA e-wallet in Surabaya. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 112 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS. The results indicate that perceived usefulness and perceived security each contribute to continuance intention. In addition, satisfaction mediates the relationships between perceived usefulness and continuance intention, as well as between perceived security and continuance intention. These findings indicate that continued e-wallet use is not only related to perceived benefits and security but also to user satisfaction after using the service. This study offers a novel contribution by integrating perceived usefulness and perceived security as exogenous variables and positioning satisfaction as a mediating variable in explaining continuance intention toward DANA e-wallet use among public university students in Surabaya.
