Abstract: This article systematically examines the professional and socio-psychological adaptation of first-year cadets and pupils at higher education institutions of the military and law enforcement agencies and at militarized schools, their stress resilience indicators, and the factors that raise the level of personal psychological safety. Functional relationships between the components of cadets’ self-organization, self-presentation tactics and military-professional motivation were studied using empirical methods. The results include practical recommendations for preserving cadets’ mental health, preventing emotional strain and maladaptive states, and optimizing the educational process.
