Abstract: This article analyzes the problem of lyrical form and meter in the poetry of Kengesbay Rakhmanov, one of the representatives of Karakalpak literature. The study examines the interaction between a stable rhythmic structure based on the syllabic system of versification (barmoq meter) and the rhythmic variability characteristic of free meter. The influence of line length, rhythmic repetition, rhyme, stanzaic structure, and the movement of thought on the metrical form of the poetic work is substantiated from a scholarly perspective. The research demonstrates that, in the poetic language of K. Rakhmanov, the traditional syllabic system and free rhythmic structure do not contradict each other; rather, they serve to express the semantic and emotional features of lyrical experience.
