Abstract: Miloš David’s review presents Markéta Švamberk Šauerová’s *Adolescent se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami* (2026) as a valuable and accessible resource for supporting adolescents with special educational needs. It praises the integration of theory, research, case studies and practical guidance, particularly in inclusive education and mental health support. The review highlights individualised approaches, early recognition of difficulties, teacher development and collaboration between schools, families and other professionals. While noting that prevalence estimates and findings on teachers’ attitudes require cautious interpretation, David emphasises the book’s practical relevance and its commitment to respecting each adolescent’s dignity, individuality and potential.
