Abstract: This research aim analyze the influence of democratic leadership and motivation on the performance of civil servants in the Municipal Authority of Manufahi Timor Leste. Using the quantitative rmethode with survey approach. The population in this research is the civil servant of Manufahi Municipal Authority. The sample used in this research is 73 respondent. With random sampling technique, data collection technique using questionnaire and statistical analysis test using multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing using T test. The reuslt concludes that the variable democratic leadership has a negative and significant influence on the performance of civil servants and motivation has a positive and significant influence on the performance of civil servants. For those who want to take and develop the same title, it is expected that research in other institutions and must increase the intervening variable by using statistical tests is not the same as the hope of research results can give generalization.
