Meaning Is Not Generated by the System: Human Recording Regimes as the Locus of Sense in Human–AI Contours
Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: Status. Hypothetical and diagnostic note. This text does not deny that AI systems produce useful, coherent, or surprising outputs. It argues, within the Acta Universi (AU) vocabulary, that meaning — as stake, purpose, and responsibility for what is allowed to write widely — remains anchored in human recording regimes. When that anchorage weakens, the hybrid contour can remain locally fluent while becoming systematically poorer in sense.
