Rhyacophila angelieri Decamps 1965

Type: article
Abstract: Rhyacophila angelieri Décamps, 1965 DIST. R. angelieri is an endemic species of the Pyrenees, with limited information available about its biology and ecology (Brown et al. 2010). The distribution of this species is very poorly known, especially in France, probably due to the very late flight period of the adults (October to December) when access conditions in the mountains are difficult. In Estaragne, where we collected only larvae, the species seems to be able to occupy a variety of biotopes (sites R, a 1, a 4, a 5) and may therefore not be so rare throughout the Pyrenees. Décamps (1967) found this species in 20 sites in the Neste d’Aure valley.
