[The first](https://www.eurac.edu/en/blogs/midas/spain-s-floods-how-nepotism-left-valencians-defenceless) one was published in November 2024 and covered the government's reaction to the disaster. [The second](https://www.eurac.edu/en/blogs/midas/valencian-floods-one-year-later), published in December 2025, connected disputes about language and culture with the emergency. This final instalment asks what has changed over the past year, as another storm hit Valencia in October 2026.
