Abstract: Peace Begins with Me – A Message of Peace, Respect and Personal Responsibility In a world increasingly affected by conflict, polarization, intolerance and violence, peace begins with the choices we make in our everyday lives. "Peace begins with me. My decisions make a difference." This multilingual peace education initiative offers three freely accessible posters in English, German and French, encouraging individuals to contribute to a more peaceful, respectful and compassionate society. The posters present six practical principles for peaceful coexistence: Stay calm – Respond thoughtfully instead of reacting with anger or aggression. Show respect – Treat others with dignity, regardless of their background, beliefs or opinions. Set boundaries – Recognize and communicate personal limits without resorting to violence. Seek help – Encourage people to ask for support when facing threats, violence or difficult situations. Resolve conflicts peacefully – Promote dialogue, understanding and constructive solutions. Take responsibility – Recognize that individual decisions and actions can make a positive difference. Purpose These posters are intended to support peace education, violence prevention, conflict resolution, mutual respect and personal responsibility. They may be useful for schools, families, youth organizations, community initiatives, educational institutions and anyone wishing to encourage peaceful coexistence. The initiative is independent, nonpartisan and inclusive. It does not promote any political party, ideology or religious belief.
